Wellington Glass & Mirror has been providing quality glass and glazing services for more than 25 years across the wider Wellington region

We are a quality custom glass house specialising in residential, light commercial and retrofit double-glazing services across the wider Wellington area including Hutt Valley, Porirua and the Kapiti Coast.

Wellington Glass & Mirror is proudly owned and operated by Pete and Lyn Jolly, supported by top-notch technical, trade-certified glazing and management teams including technical specialists and certified New Zealand Glass Standards Advisors. We have the capability and depth to work with our customers, builders, architects, engineers, project managers, and property managers alike to understand your needs and ensure the right solutions and products are provided to health, safety and industry standards. 

When it comes to Retrofit Double Glazing, we are the licensed retroGLAZE® Partner for the Wellington, Hutt Valley and Kapiti Coast regions, providing “best-in-class” solutions, superior products and trusted service.

We’ve come a long way since the company was established in 1997 but one thing hasn’t changed – our commitment to quality service. We are open daily Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 5.00 pm, excluding public holidays.

Pete Jolly - Managing Director

Pete brings a wealth of technical and management experience, working both in NZ and overseas. He is passionate about developing our team to deliver high-quality services that delight our customers.

Lyn Jolly - Director and Head of Finance, HR and Health and Safety

Lyn’s background is in human relations, finance and corporate services roles, both in the profit and not-for-profit sectors. She’s wonderful with people.

Management Team

Andrew - General Manager

Andrew has nearly 30 years’ experience managing businesses from retail and banking to glass and glazing. Andrew runs our day-to-day operations and is hands-on and people focused.

Liam - Business Development & Sales Manager

Liam is dedicated to making sure that our customers have a great experience – from your initial contact, through to the final thank-you for doing business with us.

Kelly - Glazing Manager

Kelly brings over 30 years of glass and glazing experience to leading and managing our glaziers and glazing services, as well as working with customers on their technical requirements.

Chris - Retrofit Manager

Chris is a qualified glazier and a specialist in retrofitting both aluminium and timber double-gazing for existing homes. He runs our Retrofit Double Glazing Services.

Sash - Glazing Service Delivery Manager

Sash has worked for us for over 10 years and manages logistics and scheduling for the Glazing Division. Known as "the juggler" he balances customer needs, logistics and staff availability to get jobs done on time.

Our Environmental Policy

Wellington Glass & Mirror is committed to minimising our impact on the environment to ensure it is here for future generations.

We are dedicated to waste minimisation and recycling as much of our unavoidable waste as possible.

  • We reuse old clear glass for temporary reglazing and old patterned glass, supplying local leadlight artists.
  • We recycle all other glass if possible, working with industry leaders, 5 R Solutions.
  • We recycle cardboard, paper and metals.
  • We reduce paper use by digitising company files and documents.
  • Whenever possible we buy eco-friendly, biodegradable products.
  • Whenever possible we buy recycled and recyclable products.

We work to develop our team’s understanding of the life cycle, energy efficiency and performance of our products and services.

  • Energy efficient lighting is installed throughout our office and workshop.
  • All electrical appliances are maintained to ensure their efficiency.
  • Lights and office equipment/electrical tools are turned off when not in use.
  • Heating and ventilation equipment is maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • All vehicles are serviced and maintained to ensure their efficiency.
  • Carbon emissions are considered when purchasing fleet vehicles.

We actively communicate and promote the environmental sustainability of our products and services to encourage and support customers to choose the most sustainable options that fit their budget and circumstance.

We continue to research and update our knowledge of industry laws and regulations that pertain to energy use and environmental impact.
